Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Harford County, "
sub-title, "Landings, " be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 104.
(Senate Bill 210)

AN ACT to repeal, and re-enact, with amendments, Chap-
ter 352 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, Session of 1937, to add two new sections to Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930
Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", sub-heading "Clerk of Court", said new sections
to be known as Section 168A and Section 168B, to fol-
low immediately after Section 168 of said Article, and
providing for the modernizing and re-indexing of the
records of the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Montgomery County, and for the re-classification of
the land indexes beginning with the year 1928, and pro-
viding for the method of defraying the cost of same,
and providing for the purchase of the necessary equip-
ment and supplies.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 352 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1937, be, and the same
is hereby repealed, and re-enacted, with amendments, so
as to provide two new sections to be added to Article 16
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930
Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", sub-heading "Clerk of Court", said new sections to
be known as Section 168A and Section 168B, to follow im-
mediately after Section 168 of said Article and to read as
follows:

168A. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Montgomery
County is hereby authorized and directed to change the
system of indexing of the records of his office, excepting
the land records, and to index, or cause to be indexed or
re-indexed, according to some modern and accurate sys-
tem, all of such records now on file in his office, except land
records as aforesaid, and from time to time, to continue
