transferred being subject to the same
conditions, purposes and restrictions as
the transfer of the sum of $15, 777. 18 to
the said Department from the unex-
pended balance remaining from the
appropriation for 1936 and 1937 for
damage to oyster beds in Pocomoke

To the General Assembly for the payment
of extraordinary expenses for the session
of 1939, to be paid upon the warrant of
the Comptroller to or upon the order of
the person or persons entitled to receive
the same................................................................................ 2, 500. 00
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any unexpended
balances from the above-mentioned transfers shall likewise
revert to the General Treasury of the State.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 779.
(Senate Bill 473)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "County Commissioners and
Treasurer", said new section to be known as Section 146A
and to follow immediately after Section 146 of said Article,
providing two assessors to assess and re-assess property in
Dorchester County and fixing their compensation.
