SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the foregoing
section hereby proposed as an amendment to the Constitu-
tion of the State of Maryland shall, at the election to be
held in November 1940, be submitted to the legal and quali-
fied voters of the State for their adoption or rejection in
pursuance of the directions contained in Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and at the said
general election the vote on the said proposed amendment
to the Constitution shall be by ballot and upon each ballot
there shall be printed the words "For Constitutional
Amendment" and "Against Constitutional Amendment", as
now provided by law, and immediately after said election,
due returns shall be made to the Governor of the vote for
and against said proposed amendment as directed by
Article XIV of the Constitution and further proceedings
had in accordance with said Article XIV.

CHAPTER 772.
(Senate Bill 413)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Queenstown", said new
section to be known as Section 353H and to follow imme-
diately after Section 353G of said Article, making it
unlawful to dispose of sewage on the streets or sidewalks
of Queenstown.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title
"Queenstown", said new section to be known as Section
353H, to follow immediately after Section 353G of said
Article, and to read as follows:
353H. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge,
empty or dispose in any manner of sewage on the streets
or sidewalks of Queenstown. Any person violating the
provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine of not
more than five dollars ($5. 00) for each such violation.
