or her motor vehicle for thirty days, and no more from the
time when residence in this State first begins.
Any non-resident operating a motor vehicle in this State
contrary to the provisions of this section shall be deemed
guilty of displaying a fictitious marker, or operating with-
out a license and subject to the penalties prescribed else-
where in this sub-title for such offenses in the case of
residents.
Any reciprocal agreement which may exist, or be entered
into hereafter between the State of Maryland and the
District of Columbia, in accordance with the provisions of
Section 224 of this Article, shall be subject in every respect
to the provisions of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Chapter 540 of the Acts of
1937, Section 7AC of Article 89B of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, title "State Roads", modifying the pro-
visions authorizing and directing the State Roads
Commission to pay a certain sum of money to the
incorporated towns of Frederick County from the por-
tion of the "One and One-half Cent Lateral County and
Municipal Gasoline Fund" allocated to Frederick
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 7AC of Article 89B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland shall be repealed and re-enacted to
read as follows:
Section 7AC. The State Roads Commission of Mary-
land is hereby authorized and directed to pay annually out
of the fund allocated to Frederick County by said Com-
mission from the "One and One-half Cent Lateral County
and Municipal Gasoline Fund" the following amounts to
the incorporated towns of Frederick County, the sum of
Seven Thousand Dollars ($7, 000. 00) to Frederick City.
The sum of $3, 000. 00 to Brunswick, $500. 00 to Emmits-
burg, $300. 00 to Middletown, $100. 00 to Myersville, $100. 00
