CHAPTER 97.
(House Bill 334)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 255, 256 and 257 of Article 9 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
as said sections were enacted by Chapter 31 of the Acts of
1937, said sections providing for the payment of bounties
for killing foxes in Charles County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 255, 256 and 257 of Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), as said
sections were enacted by Chapter 31 of the Acts of 1937, be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 98.
(House Bill 387)

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Burgess and Commis-
sioners of Middletown, in Frederick County, by repealing
and re-enacting, with amendments, Section 528 of Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition and Section 520 in the Edition by George E. Dennis,
Jr. ), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Middletown", as
amended by Chapter 34 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1931, and to add a new section to Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), to be known as Section 528A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 528 as amended, relating to elections,
qualifications of voters and officers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 528 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition and Section 520 in
the Edition by George R. Dennis, Jr. ), title "Frederick Coun-
ty", sub-title "Middletown", as amended by Chapter 34 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1931, be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-en acted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
