AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 2,
6, 8 and 9 of Chapter 448 of the Laws of Maryland of 1927,
as amended by Chapter 286 of the Laws of Maryland of 1929,
by Chapter 370 of the Laws of Maryland of 1931, by Chapter
33 of the Laws of Maryland of 1933 (Extraordinary Ses-
sion) and by Chapter 46 of the Laws of Maryland of 1937,
being Sections 586, 590, 592 and 593 of Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "Maryland-Washington
Metropolitan District", as amended, and Sections 721, 725,
727 and 728 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County",
sub-title "Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District", as
amended, so as to make it unnecessary that the Chairman
of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission be ex
officio a member of the Maryland-National Capital Park
and Planning Commission and to fix the terms and prescribe
the manner of appointment of its members; to authorize and
empower the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission to enter into such commitments and agreements
with the National Capital Park and Planning Commission,
created by Act of Congress of the United States, approved
April 30, 1926, as may be necessary for the purpose of com-
plying with the provisions of Public Act 284, 71st Congress
of the United States; to authorize and empower the Mary-
land-National Capital Park and Planning Commission to
borrow money to meet expenses in Montgomery County by
issuance of Tax Anticipation Certificates of Indebtedness;
to authorize renewal of said certificates and to provide for
the repayment of the same; to provide for the repeal of laws
and ordinances inconsistent herewith; and to make this Act
an emergency law and to declare it effective from the date
of its passage.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 2, 6, 8 and 9 of Chapter 488 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1927, as said Sections were amended by Chapter
