Montgomery County or of any other governmental agency in
or of Montgomery County in the discretion of said Board of
County Commissioners and to publish appropriate information
pertaining to the activities of the various governmental
agencies of said Montgomery County, Maryland.
197B. Any excess of the cost of said publication whether in
the form of pamphlet, booklet or otherwise, over the sums
received by the sale thereof shall be chargeable to the opera-
tion and expense of the Montgomery County Liquor Dis-
pensary System. Nothing herein contained, however, shall be
construed to alter or amend the existing requirements of law
imposed upon the Board of County Commissioners or to the
officials and agencies of Montgomery County with respect to
the requirements of advertisement of orders, regulations, ordi-
nances, tax sales, notices, etc., now required by existing law.
197C. Said Board of County Commissioners for Montgomery
County shall make such information so published available for
general distribution within said county either without charge
or upon such charge as the said Board of County Commis-
sioners deem sufficient in their discretion to cover the actual
cost of collecting and publishing such information.
197D. The Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery
County in order to facilitate the carrying out of the provisions
of this Act may in their discretion appoint a suitable per-
son to be known as the Secretary to the President of the
Board of County Commissioners to act under the direction of
said Board of County Commissioners in the performance of
such duties as may be directed including the assembly and
dissemination of such information hereinbefore provided; such
person shall serve at the pleasure of the said Board of County
Commissioners and shall receive a salary not to exceed $2, 700
per annum, payable monthly.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Licenses", said new
section to be known as Section 701A and to follow imme-
