been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 818)

AN ACT to add four new sections to Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "County Commissioners and
Treasurer", said new sections to be known as Sections
197A, 197B, 197C and 197D, to follow immediately after
Section 197 of said Article to provide for additional duties
of the President of the Board of County Commissioners in
disseminating and distributing certain information pertain-
ing to the functions of the governmental agencies of Mont-
gomery County, and to provide for the appointment of a
Secretary to the President of the Board to assist him in
such additional duties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That four new sections be added to Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer",
said new sections to be known as Sections 197A, 197B, 197C,
and 197D, to follow immediately after Section 197, and to read
as follows:

197A. The Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery
County, Maryland, may in their discretion in the interest of
disseminating necessary governmental information to the pub-
lic and for the promotion of public health and safety, compile
and publish from time to time, in convenient form for sale or
distribution, any rules, regulations and ordinances, such as
building, police, zoning and health regulations promulgated
by the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County,
or the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Com-
mission and the Liquor Control Board, any rules now existing
or to be hereinafter enacted by the Police Court, Board of Coun-
ty Commissioners, Park and Planning Commission, Trial Jus-
tice of said county, the Orphans' Court or Circuit Court of
Montgomery County, Maryland, and to publish the local laws of
