SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to Article 13 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Harford
County, " sub-title, "Aberdeen, " to be known as Section
18A, and to read as follows:

18A. Each bona fide active member of the Aberdeen
Fire Department, Inc., shall be exempt from taxation for
town purposes to the extent of one thousand dollars
($1000. 00) on real estate only, which exemption shall in
no way deprive said bona fide active member of said Fire
Department from the right of franchise in town elections,
provided said member has all the other requirements of a
qualified voter.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 237, 238, 239, 240 and 241 of
Article 13, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title, "Harford County, " sub-title, "Darlington—
Live Stock In. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 237, 238, 239, 240 and 241 of
Article 13, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title, "Harford County, " sub-title, "Darlington—Live Stock
In, " be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1939.
