SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the Commission
shall have the use of the office and staff of the State Board of
Education so far as this may be necessary; shall have free
access to all public records necessary to the carrying out of
the duties herein prescribed; and all members of the county
boards of education, superintendents, teachers, and other offi-
cers, connected with the public elementary and high schools
and the State Teachers' Colleges of the State of Maryland
shall give such assistance to the Commission as shall be re-
quired.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 611.
(House Bill 390)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, as amended by Chapter 503 of the Acts
of 1937, title "Health", sub-title "Funeral Directors and
Embalmers", to be known as Section 310 and to follow
immediately after Section 309 of said Article, to provide
penalties for violation of the Act regulating the business
of funeral directors and embalmers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended
by Chapter 503 of the Acts of 1937, title "Health", sub-title
"Funeral Directors and Embalmers", to be known as Section
310, to follow immediately after Section 309 of said Article
and to read as follows:

310. Violation of any of the sections of this Act, except the
licensing sections for which provision is made in Section 304
hereof, shall be deemed a misdemeanor punishable upon con-
viction by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars or
imprisonment for one year, or both, in the discretion of the
Court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1939.
