County Agent. The balance of said sura, after setting up the
reserve fund and making the above specified payment, shall be
turned into the general funds of the County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 608.
(House Bill 883)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 301 and 302 of Article 2 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Hawkers and
Peddlers", and to substitute two new sections in lieu
thereof, said new sections to be known as Sections 301 and
302, and to follow immediately after Section 300 of said
Article, providing for the licensing of hawkers and ped-
dlers and roadside stands in Anne Arundel County and
charging a lower fee for such license than heretofor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Sections 301 and 302 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County", sub-title "Hawkers and Peddlers7', be and
the same are hereby repealed, and to substitute two new sec-
tions in lieu thereof, said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 301 and 302, and to follow immediately after Section
300 of said Article and to read as follows:

301. For licenses issued to hawkers and peddlers in Anne
Arundel County, the fee shall be Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00).

302. No person, firm, corporation or association by its
officers, agents or employees, shall sell, barter or trade or
offer or expose for sale, barter or trade in or upon any street
or highway of Anne Arundel County, or go from house to
house, either on foot, or with a horse or other beast of burden,
or with a wagon, or motor vehicle, or any other conveyance
whatsoever, upon the streets or highways of Anne Arundel
County selling, bartering, or trading or offering to sell, barter
or trade, or shall sell, barter or trade or offer to sell, barter
or trade at or from any roadside stand or roadside market
upon any street or highway of Anne Arundel County any
produce, products or merchandise whatsoever, except of his,
