134. The Boards of Supervisors of Elections for the several
counties shall have power to employ an attorney, who shall
also be the attorney for the judges of election, whether acting
as such or as registration officers, to receive such compensation
as shall be allowed by the county commissioners upon the ap-
proval of the circuit court, except that the attorney to the
Board of Supervisors of Elections of Wicomico County shall
receive an annual salary of three hundred dollars ($300) pay-
able on the order of the County Commissioners of Wicomico
County in equal quarterly installments, provided, however, that
in the event of special elections or special services rendered,
the Board of County Commissioners shall allow such addi-
tional compensation as may by said County Commissioners be
deemed commensurate with such special services rendered.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 594.
(House Bill 677)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Bev-
erages", sub-title "Classes of Licenses", said new section to
be known as Section 3A and to follow immediately after
Section 3 of said Article, relating to licenses for the sale of
alcoholic beverages in the City of Annapolis.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That one new section be and it is hereby added to Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Classes of Licenses",
said new section to be known as Section 3A and to follow
immediately after Section 3 of said Article and to read as
follows:

3A. Classes B and C beer and wine on sale licenses and
Class D beer, wine and liquor on sale licenses may be issued
in the City of Annapolis upon the approval of and for such
fee, and under such rules, regulations and restrictions as may
be prescribed by the Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of said
City.
