Dumping", said new section to be known as Section 699A,
to follow immediately after Section 699 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
699A. It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain or
to permit to be maintained a public dump within five hundred
feet of a State highway in Frederick County, or for any person
to throw, dump, or deposit any trash, junk or other refuse
upon the same. Any person violating the provisions of this
section is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction
thereof, be fined not exceeding Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00)
for each such violation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 590.
(House Bill 782)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
107 and 108 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Garrett County", sub-title "County
Treasurer" as said Section was amended by Chapter 199 of
the Acts of 1937 relating to the time for the enforcement of
delinquent taxes and the time for giving notice thereof.

CHAPTER 591.
(House Bill 400)
AN ACT to authorize the Board of County Commissioners of
Montgomery County to borrow the money to pay all costs
of a general re-assessment of property and the advertisement
thereof, to issue certificates of indebtedness therefor and to
levy annually upon the taxable property of Montgomery
County for the payment of the principal and interest of
said certificates of indebtedness, and providing that the in-
consistent portions of Section 174 of Article 81 of the Public
General Laws be suspended as to Montgomery County until
July 1, 1940.
