Talbot County. If it shall appear from the results of said
election that the majority of the votes are "For County Dis-
pensaries", then the provisions of Sections 48H, 48-I and 48J
shall become effective and the said Liquor Control Board shall
provide for the establishment of dispensaries as provided in
said sections but said dispensaries shall not be open for the
sale of such alcoholic beverages as authorized by said sections
until May 1st, 1941.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immedi-
ate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all of the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of
its passage.

CHAPTER 525.
(House. Bill 317)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Alle-
gany County", to be under a new sub-title "Tax on Admis-
sions", said new section to be know as Section 629A and to
follow immediately after Section 629 of said Article, pro-
viding for a tax on admissions to certain moving picture
exhibitions of Allegany County.

CHAPTER 526.
(House Bill 329)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 271
of Article 56, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1935
Supplement, title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in the
Counties", providing that in Baltimore County the County
Commissioners may use the excess funds received from dog
licenses for any purpose, and further authorizing the County
Commissioners of Baltimore County to enter into an agree-
ment with persons, associations or corporations for the re-
moval and disposition of unlicensed or licensed dogs in said
County as may be deemed proper by said County Commis-
sioners on such terms and conditions as may be agreed to.
