SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 488.
(House Bill 653)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-title "Classes of Licenses", said new section
to be known as Section 3A and to follow immediately after
Section 3 of said Article, providing for a special (on sale)
beer, wine and liquor license for clubs having an annual on
sale beer, wine and liquor license.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Classes of Licenses",
said new section to be known as Section 3A and to follow im-
mediately after Section 3 of said Article and to read as follows:

3A. There shall be a special class C (on sale) beer, wine and
liquor license in Washington County, which shall be issued
solely to clubs having an annual on sale beer, wine and liquor
license. This special license shall entitle the licensee to sell
alcoholic beverages at any place other than its regular place
of business for a period not to exceed five days at a daily
fee of ten dollars ($10. 00).

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.
