755A. In addition to the duties prescribed in Section 755,
the County Engineer shall have, under the supervision and con-
trol of the Board of County Commissioners, supervision of
all of the road building and maintaining machinery, equip-
ment and supplies which are the property of Montgomery
County. The Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery
County is hereby authorized to acquire by purchase, rental or
other means suitable space in a central location within Mont-
gomery County for the storage and housing of all of such
road machinery, equipment and supplies. Upon the acquisi-
tion of such space the County Engineer shall store all of such
road machinery, equipment and supplies therein, keep a per-
manent inventory thereof and report the quantities thereof to
the County Commissioners upon being requested so to do. The
Board of County Commissioners is hereby authorized to levy
a tax upon all of the assessable property in Montgomery Coun-
ty to provide funds for the acquisition of the necessary road
machinery, equipment and supplies and to pay the costs of
acquiring the space for the storage and housing thereof.

(House Bill 582)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to borrow upon the faith and credit
of said County at any time not later than June 1, 1941, a
sum not to exceed in the aggregate One Hundred Seventy-
five Thousand Dollars ($175, 000. 00), for the purpose of pro-
viding funds to carry out a school construction program
for Montgomery County as proposed by the Board of Edu-
cation of Montgomery County and as outlined herein; and
authorizing and empowering the County Commissioners of
Montgomery County to evidence said borrowing by the
issuance and sale of coupon bonds, and providing for the
payment of the said coupon bonds, and interest thereon by
a general tax levy upon all the taxable property within the
corporate limits of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purposes hereinafter specified and recited
and subject to the conditions and qualifications hereinafter
set forth, the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
