making the interest and redemption of the bonds authorized
by said Acts a direct obligation of Prince George's County
and directing the levy of taxes therefor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 7 of Chapter 176 of the Acts of 1927,
entitled "An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County to borrow on faith of County the sum
of $106, 000. 00 and issue bonds therefor, and apply proceeds
to the building of a concrete road along the present Edmonston
Road in said county, from East Riverdale to- Branchville
road, " as validated by Chapter 35 of the Acts of 1929, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

7. For the purpose of paying the interest on said bonds
and for redeeming the same as they mature the said County
Commissioners shall annually hereafter, until all of said bonds
issued under the authority of this Act shall mature and be re-
deemed, levy and collect a tax as a part of the general tax levy
for said county, sufficient to pay the annual interest on said
bonds outstanding and redeem the same as they mature, said
tax to be levied and collected at the time and in the manner
other county taxes are levied and collected.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 4 of Chap-
ter 171 of the Acts of 1924, entitled "An Act to authorize and
direct the County Commissioners of Prince George's County,,
Maryland, to borrow upon the faith and credit of said county
the sum of forty thousand dollars ($40, 000. 00) and to issue its-
bonds therefor and to apply the proceeds to the construction
of a concrete road along the line of the present Edmonston
Road in said county; and to provide for the payment of said
bonds by a tax on a certain defined area, " be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows i

4. For the purpose of paying the interest on said bonds and
for redeeming the same as they mature, the said County Com
missioners shall annually hereafter, until all of said bonds
issued under the authority of this Act shall mature and be re-
deemed, levy and collect a tax as a part of the general tax levy
for said county, sufficient to pay the annual interest on said
bonds outstanding and redeem the same as they mature, said
tax to be levied and collected at the time and in the manner
other county taxes are levied and collected.
