CHAPTER 370.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 6,
8, 9 and 10 of Chapter 448 of the Laws of Maryland of
1927, as said Act was amended by Chapter 286 of the Laws
of Maryland of 1929, and to add a new section to be known
as Section 1A of said Act, the purpose of the amendments
made by this Act being to add certain territory herein de-
fined to the Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District
and to authorize and direct that certain taxes hereunder
shall be levied in the said territory at certain dates men-
tioned in this Act; to authorize and empower the Maryland-
National Capital Park and Planning Commission to enter
into such commitments and agreements with the National
Capital Park and Planning Commission, created by Act of
Congress of the United States, approved April 30, 1926, as
may be necessary for the purpose of complying with certain
provisions of Public Act 284, 71st Congress of the United
'States; to require that title to certain lands acquired under
the provisions hereof shall vest in the State of Maryland;
for the purposes herein specified; to authorize the said Com-
mission to issue and sell bonds under the condition stated
herein not to exceed the total sum of $1, 200, 000. 00, on
account of lands to be acquired within Montgomery County;
to authorize and direct a tax levy for the purpose of paying
the interest on bonds issued hereunder and the retirement of
said bonds at their maturity; to authorize the Commission to
pledge repayment of advances or allotments received by it
under the said Public Act 284 in an amount not to exceed
$1, 200, 000. 00, on account of lands to be acquired within
Montgomery County and to direct the Commission to issue
and sell bonds herein authorized in an amount sufficient to
repay the same or any portion thereof; to authorize the said
Commission, with the consent of the County Commissioners
of Prince George's County, to apply for and receive advances
of additional sums not to exceed $800, 000. 00 on account of
lands to be acquired within Prince George's County under
the terms of the said Public Act 284; to provide for the
. guarantee by the respective counties of bonds issued here-
under; to authorize and empower the Commission to issue
its promissory notes in a sum not to exceed $200, 000. 00
and to provide for the retirement of said notes from the
proceeds of the 7-cent tax herein authorized; to authorize
