CHAPTER 345.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
5 and 6 of Article 97 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1924 Edition), title "Weights and Measures, " conferring
certain powers upon the County Commissioners of Allegany
County relating to weights and measures.

CHAPTER 346.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Harford County to grant a pension to Amos Norris.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Harford County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to grant a
pension of one hundred dollars ($100. 00) per year, payable
quarterly, to Amos Norris, a resident of said county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 347.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
488 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County, " sub-title
"Minors and Non-Support, " authorizing the commitment to
the Maryland House of Correction as well as to the county
jail of persons convicted of violating said section.
