"Sanitary Districts, " and to enact in lieu thereof 27 new
sections, to be known as Sections 424 to 450, both inclusive,,
relating to the sanitary districts within Anne Arundel Coun-
ty, the Anne Arundel County Sanitary Commission, its
powers and duties as to the construction, maintenance, opera-
tion, purchase and condemnation of water supply and sew-
erage systems; authorizing the issuance of bonds for the
purpose of such construction upon the faith and credit of
Anne Arundel County, and to levy taxes, benefits, water
and sewer charges and rates in certain sanitary districts for
the payment of said bonds; providing for the operation,
maintenance, regulation and control of said systems; pro-
viding for a budget of expenses of said Commission and for
the payment of the same out of the road tax levied and col-
lected within the sanitary districts; providing penalties for
certain offenses defined herein, and for other purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 424 to 453A, both inclusive, of Arti-
cle 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Sanitary
Districts, " be and they are hereby repealed, and that 27 new
sections be and they are hereby added to said Article, said new
sections to be known as Sections 424 to 450, both inclusive,,
and to read as follows:
424. All those parts of Anne Arundel County described as
follows:
Beginning for the first part at a point in the Patapsco River
where the boundary line between Anne Arundel and Baltimore
Counties intersects the center of the State road leading from.
Westport to Annapolis by way of North Linthicum, and bind-
ing on the center of the said State road southerly for a distance
of about 1, 300 feet; and thence leaving the said State road
and running with the center of Hollins Ferry road, the said
road being also one of the west boundaries of the First Pre-
cinct of the Fifth Election District, for a distance of about
1, 510 feet to the center line of the Old Short Line Railroad,
now the property of Terminal Real Estate Company; thence
continuing with the said line of the said road southerly about
725 feet to a point in the said road (known as the Belle Grove
State Road at this point) 200 feet easterly as measured at
right angles to and from the center line of the aforementioned
State road leading to Annapolis; thence parallel to and 2001
