CHAPTER 292.

AN ACT to prohibit the sale, manufacture and/or firing of
firecrackers, squibs, rockets and other combustible fireworks
in the Seventh Election District of Montgomery County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons,
partnership, association or body corporate to manufacture, sell
or offer for sale any firecrackers, squibs, rockets or other com-
bustible fireworks within the limits of the Seventh Election
District of Montgomery County after January 1st, 1932.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it shall be unlaw-
ful for any person or persons to fire, detonate, set off or burn
any firecrackers, rockets, squibs or other combustible fire-
works within the limits of the said Seventh Election District
of Montgomery County at any time other than on July first to
fourth, inclusive.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any person or
persons, association, or body corporate violating any of the
provisions of this Act, upon conviction before the Police Jus-
tice of Montgomery County or in the Circuit Court of Mont-
gomery County, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
shall pay a fine not to exceed the sum of twenty-five dollars
($25. 00) for each offense.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 293.

AN ACT to repeal Section 7 of Article 72 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Oysters, " sub-title "Tonging, " as
the same was enacted by Chapter 733 of the Acts of 1910,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 7 of Article 72 of the Annotated Code
