To the Military Department, for the acquisition of a parcel
of ground for armory purposes at Chestertown and Easton;
for the acquisition of a parcel of ground at Towson and the
erection thereon and equipment of a State Armory and for
the erection of new stable building and equipment at Pikes-
ville; for repairs, alterations, and additions to armories located
throughout the State, and for the purchase of ground, con-
struction of roads, repairs, equipment and general improve-
ments at the State Reservation, Cascade, Washington County,
aggregating $280, 000, of which $44, 000 shall be from the
issue of August 15, 1931; $58, 000 from the issue of February
15, 1932, and $178, 000 from the issue of August 15, 1932.
To the Springfield State Hospital, for the construction of
a new building and equipment for same for additional patients,
$221, 000, and for the purchase of a new locomotive, $15, 000,
aggregating $236, 000, of which $138, 000 shall be from the
issue of February 15, 1932, and $98, 000 from the issue of
August 15, 1932.
To the Spring Grove State Hospital, for the construction of
a new building and equipment for same for additional pa-
tients and additions to the laundry, $219, 000; for the construc-
tion of a new power plant, $200, 000, and for remodeling and
improvements to the criminal insane building, $5, 000; aggre-
gating $424, 000, of which $50, 000 shall be from the issue of
August 15, 1931; $155, 000 from the issue of February 15,
1932, and $219, 000 from the issue of August 15, 1932.
To the Crownsville State Hospital, for the construction of
a new building and equipment for same for additional patients
and for the installation of stokers at the power plant, $242, 000,
and for the construction of a building or buildings and equip-
ment for same for feeble-minded colored patients, $283, 000,
and for the acquisition of land adjacent to the present hospital
grounds, $13, 500, aggregating $538, 500, of which $170, 500
shall be from the issue of February 15, 1932, and $368, 000
from the issue of August 15, 1932.
To the Rosewood State Training School, for the construc-
tion of a new building and equipment for same for feeble-
minded delinquent girls, $100, 000, and for additions to the
water supply and for fireproofing two buildings, $30, 000; ag-
gregating $130, 000, all from the issue of August 15, 1932.
