bly of Maryland of 1929, to turn over to the Board of Edu-
cation certain surplus funds from the sale of Anne Arundel
County Public School Bonds, as herein specified, and to pro-
vide for the expenditure by the Board of Education of Anne
Arundel County of any such surplus funds from the sale
of Anne Arundel County Public School Bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the "Public School Building Commission of
Anne Arundel County, " created under the provisions of Chap-
ter 203 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1929 be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and di-
rected to pay to the Board of Education of Anne Arundel
County from the premium received over and above the one
million dollars par value of bonds, the sum of fifteen thousand
dollars to redeem Series B, due July 1, 1931, and the sum of
twenty-two thousand one hundred eighty-five dollars to pay
coupons due July 1, 1931, and any and all funds that may be
left in the hands of the said Commission after making all of
the expenditures, and carrying out all the purposes, delegated
to said Commission by the provisions of said Act. And the
said Board of Education of Anne Arundel County shall apply
said surplus funds thus received or to be received from the said
"Public School Building Commission of Anne Arundel Coun-
ty" to the redeeming of the Series B bonds herein referred to,
and to the payment of the coupons due July 1, 1931, and for
such other necessary public school purposes within its present
jurisdiction as the said Board of Education may determine.

CHAPTER 242.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County, " sub-title "County Treasurer, " said new
section to be known as Section 88A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 88 of said Article, requiring real
property in Charles County to be transferred on the county
assessment books before the conveyance of same shall be
recorded by the clerk of the Circuit Court for said county.
