shall be subject to all of the rules, regulations, assessments and
benefits affecting the! same as a part of the territory of the
Maryland Washington Metropolitan District for the purpose of
direct tax or any or all of the provisions of Chapter 488 of
the Laws of 1927 and any amendments thereto, and the said
additional territory shall be taken as and treated as if the said
additional territory were within the original boundaries of the
said Maryland Washington Metropolitan District.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 205.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Roads, " said new section to be
known as Section 420A and to follow immediately after
Section 420 of said Article, to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners of said county to assume full juris-
diction over a road in said county, for the purpose of main-
taining, constructing and completing same, said road being
less than thirty feet wide.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Roads, "
said new section to be known as Section 420A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 420 of said Article, and to read as fol-
lows:

420 A. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County are hereby authorized and empowered to assume full
jurisdiction over the following road in said county, for the
