tices of the peace in those counties respectively for issuing any
warrant of arrest or summons for witnesses or for hearings
trial judgment and commitment and shall also collect the same
fees as justices of the peace in the said counties are respectively
allowed in civil actions. On the first day of each month fol-
lowing his appointment he shall account for and pay over to
the said county commissioners of each county, respectively, all
such fees so collected by him on account of civil or criminal
actions arising in each county. The said police justice shall
be paid a salary of twenty-one hundred dollars ($2, 100) per
annum, which shall include all expenses in connection with
the duties of his office and the maintenance thereof and he
shall receive no other fees or compensation of any kind, nature
or description in connection with his office. Of his said salary^
the sum of six hundred dollars ($600) per annum shall be paid
by the Town of Takoma Park, Maryland, from its general
revenues and the remaining fifteen hundred dollars ($1, 500)
per annum shall be paid by the County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County; and the said County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County are hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to include in their next annual levy on all the assessable prop-
erty in Montgomery County, and each succeeding levy an
amount necessary to pay the said portion of the salary of the
said police justice so to be paid by the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws in conflict with this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 11 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County, " sub-title "Frederick City, " sub-head-
ing "Election and Registration, " said new section to be
