advertised to the highest bidder, commencing with the first
piece of real estate listed in said advertisement and continuing
to conduct said sale until all of the real estate so advertised
shall have been offered for sale. Said sale shall commence at
ten o'clock A. M. on the first Monday in April of each year
and continue until three o'clock P. M. from day to day, Sun-
days and legal holidays excepted, until all of the real estate
so advertised to be sold shall have been offered for sale.

257. No piece of real estate offered at tax sale by said
Clerk-Treasurer shall be sold for less than the total of the
taxes, interest, penalties and costs for which it is liable. If
such a bid for the same be not made, it shall be considered and
recorded as sold to the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar
Manor for the total amount thereof. In such case it shall
remain on the assessment books of the Mayor and Town Coun-
cil of Colmar Manor and be taxed as other property thereon;
but not resold at the succeeding annual tax and/or assessment
sales. A report of all sales made by the said Clerk-Treasurer,,
and final ratification thereof, shall be made and had as herein,
provided.

257A. Any real estate sold under the provisions of this Act
may be redeemed within two years after the published date of
the sale thereof by the payment of the total amount of the taxes
and assessments, interest, penalties and costs for which the same
was sold, interest at twelve per centum per annum on the
amount of such sale from the date of sale, as published, to the
time of redemption, and all subsequent taxes and/or assess-
ments, interest, penalties and costs which shall have accrued
thereon.

257B. The sales of all real estate made by the said Clerk-
Treasurer for taxes and special assessments so due and unpaid
to the said Mayor and Town Council shall be reported by him,,
under a general oath as to their fairness, to the Circuit Court
for Prince George's County, sitting in equity. Said sales shall
be listed in separate paragraphs and numbered. The Clerk of
said Court, upon receiving said report, shall docket a suit in
the equity docket of said Court in the name of the "Clerk-
Treasurer of the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor, "
as plaintiff, against each of the persons or corporations named,
in said report of sales, as defendants.
