the Washington-Baltimore Boulevard, and running thence due
north to the north line of said Boulevard and thence along the
north line of said Boulevard to high water mark on the east
bank of Anacostia River, thence along said high water mark
on said east bank of the Anacostia River to the east boundary
line of the Fort Lincoln Cemetery, thence along the east bound-
ary line of Fort Lincoln Cemetery to the point of beginning.

241.      The Town of Colmar Manor shall be divided into
four wards, as follows:

First Ward—That portion of said town lying between Fort
Lincoln Cemetery and a line from the Washington-Baltimore
Boulevard to the Anacostia River, following the west line of
Pershing Avenue.

Second Ward—That portion of said town bounded on the
west by a line1 from the Boulevard to the River, following the
west line of Pershing Avenue, and on the east by a line from the
Boulevard to the River, following the west line of Marshall
Avenue.

Third Ward—That portion of said town bounded on the
west by a line from the Boulevard to the River, following the
west line of Marshall Avenue, and on the east by a line from
the Boulevard to the River, following the west line of Lenox
Avenue.

Fourth Ward—That portion of the said town lying east of
a line from the Boulevard to the River, following the west
line of Lenox Avenue.

242.      The officers of said town shall consist of a Mayor and
four Councilmen, the Mayor to be elected by the combined
vote of the said town, and the four Councilmen to be elected
by their respective wards; and such appointive officers as are
hereinafter designated; and each officer appointed shall con-
tinue to hold office for such term as the Mayor and Council
shall designate or until his successor is duly qualified. Before
entering upon the duties of his office, each officer shall take
oath that he will diligently and faithfully discharge all duties
of his office without favor, partiality or prejudice, and said
oath shall be filed among the records of said town of Colmar
Manor.

243.     At the first election of officers held under this charter,
hereby provided to be held on the second Tuesday in July, 1931,
