receive the money therefor, and collect all taxes which may
be imposed by any ordinance passed in pursuance of the power
conferred by Section 326; keep an accurate account of all
money received by him, and pay over the same as received to
the Tax Collector; and shall make a detailed quarterly report
thereof to the Mayor and Council under oath; he shall file all
accounts and claims presented against the town, and whenever
any account is approved and passed by the Mayor and Council,
he shall make a record of the same in a book to be kept for that
purpose; he shall perform such other duties as are imposed
upon him by law, ordinance or order of the Mayor and Coun-
cil; he shall give bond to the Mayor and Council, to be ap-
proved by them, in the penalty of three thousand dollars for
the faithful discharge of his duties; he shall be allowed as com-
pensation for his services such sum as the Mayor and Council
may determine, which shall include all compensation as Clerk
to the Board of Street Commissioners, the City Board of
Health and for all services rendered by him of imposed upon
him by Section 389 of this Article, and he shall receive no
other fee or compensation whatsoever, nor shall he engage in
any other business occupation during the term of his office, and
shall give his entire time and attention to his duties as such
Clerk.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 30.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
52 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1929 Supplement), title "Fish and Fisheries, " sub-title
"Shad and Herring Season, " changing the season for catch-
ing shad and herring in certain parts of Chesapeake Bay
. and its tributaries.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 52 of Article 39 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1929 Supplement), title "Fish and Fish-
eries, " sub-title "Shad and Herring Season, " be and the same
