47A. The use of anchored gill nets is hereby prohibited in
the head waters of the Chesapeake Bay north of a line drawn
from Robins Point, in Harford County, to the mouth of Fair-
lee Creek, in Kent County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect the first day of June, 1931.

CHAPTER 166.
A1ST ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
166 of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Howard County, " sub-title
"Ellicott City, " so as to provide for the payment by the
County Commissioners of Howard County to the Commis-
sioners of Ellicott City, of the annual sum of two thousand
dollars ($2, 000. 00), to be used by said Commissioners of
Ellicott City for repairing, maintaining and building roads,
streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, sidewalks and bridges within
the corporate limits of said Ellicott City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 166 of Article 14 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Howard
County, " sub-title "Ellicott City, " be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:
166. It shall be the duty of the County Commissioners of
Howard County to pay over annually to the Commissioners of
Ellicott City the sum of two thousand dollars ($2, 000. 00).
The amount so paid over shall be charged against, and taken
out of, the taxes levied for road purposes by said County
Commissioners for use in the Second Election District of said
Howard County. The Commissioners of Ellicott City shall
set aside this amount of money in a special fund to be used for
repairing, maintaining and building roads, streets, avenues,
lanes, alleys, sidewalks and bridges within the corporate limits
of Ellicott City; and, in the discretion of said Commissioners,
