CHAPTER 24.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 346
of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Carroll County, " sub-title "State's
Attorney, " fixing the salary of the State's Attorney for Car-
roll County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 346 of Article 7 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll
County, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " be and the same is here-
by repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:

346. The State's Attorney for Carroll County shall receive
a salary of. three thousand dollars for the year 1931 and each
year thereafter, which shall be annually levied by the County
Commissioners of said county, and paid to him in monthly in-
stalments from the first Monday of January 1931; said salary
to be in full compensation for all services of the State's Attor-
ney required by law to be paid by the County Commissioners
of said county.

SEC. 2. And, be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 25.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
391B and 391D of Chapter 339 of the Acts of 1929, pro-
viding for the selection of the petit and grand jury panels
for Baltimore County, and designating the number of names
to be selected from each district.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 391B and 391D of Chapter 339 of
the Acts of 1929, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows:
