CHAPTER 20.
AN ACT to ratify and legalize the construction, maintenance
and operation, by the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick,
of a miniature golf course within "the corporate limits of
Frederick.
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick has con-
structed and operated a miniature municipal golf course in
Frederick, Maryland, upon land given to said municipal cor-
poration by Joseph D. Baker and Virginia M. Baker, his wife;
and whereas the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick desires to
have the sanction and consent of the Legislature for the build-
ing, maintenance and operation of said miniature golf course;
therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the construction, maintenance and operation
by the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick, of the municipal
miniature golf course, upon land conveyed to the city by
Joseph D. Baker and Virginia M. Baker, his wife, situated
on the southwest corner of Carroll Parkway and North Bentz
Street, in Frederick City, Frederick County, Maryland, be
and the same is hereby ratified and legalized and said munici-
pal corporation is hereby authorized and empowered to main-
tain and operate said golf course as the municipal miniature
golf course of the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on the first day of June, 1931.

CHAPTER 21.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Town of Brentwood,
Maryland, as enacted by Chapter 153 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1922, as amended by
Chapters 167 and 177 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1927 and by Chapter 142 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1929, by repealing and
re-enacting with amendments, Sections 18-A, 18-B, and
