section shall prohibit any person who is owner or tenant of
land from killing any fox, on the land of which such person
is owner or tenant at any time except when such fox is being
chased by hounds under the charge of fox-hunters; and pro-
vided, further, that nothing in this section shall be construed
to prevent the killing of foxes at any time by any person while
such foxes are in pursuit of poultry or within a reasonable
time after such pursuit.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts, general or local, inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 110.
AN ACT to require all State and county taxes due and in
arrears on real estate in Worcester County to be paid before
deeds conveying said real estate are recorded among the
land records of said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no deed or deeds conveying real estate, sit-
uated or located in Worcester County, Maryland, shall be ad-
mitted to record among the land records of the Circuit Court
for said county unless all taxes due and in arrears to the State
of Maryland and to Worcester County on said property shall
first have been paid and such deed or deeds shall bear the
stamp of the county treasurer of Worcester County certifying
to the payment of such taxes.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1, 1931.
