CHAPTER 11.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the municipal corporation,
The Town Commissioners of Centreville, to borrow upon the
faith and credit of said municipal corporation, the sum of two
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for
the purpose of paying the balance due for the purchase of
additional land for Chesterfield Cemetery; to execute the
promissory notes of said municipal corporation and to renew
said notes from time to time for a period not extending beyond
July 1, 1935,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,, That the Town Commissioners of Centreville, a municipal
corporation, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to
borrow upon the faith and credit of said municipal corpora-
tion, the sum of two thousand dollars, for the purpose of pay-
ing off the balance due for the purchase of additional land for
the Chesterfield Cemetery, and to execute the promissory notes
of said municipal corporation, the Town Commissioners of Cen-
treville, for the amount so borrowed. Said notes shall be drawn
in such amounts as the said municipal corporation shall in its dis-
cretion determine, but the total amount of said promissory notes
shall not exceed the aforesaid sum of two thousand dollars and
the said municipal corporation, the Town Commissioners of Cen-
treville, is hereby authorized and empowered, for and during
a period not extending beyond July 1, 1935, to renew the said
promissory notes as they mature from time to time, in whole or
in part, until all of said promissory notes and interest to accrue
thereon have been fully paid, but no renewal note shall be drawn
so as to fall due after the first day of July, 1935, and no renewal
notes shall be given by said municipal corporation after the first
day of July, 1935.
SEC. 2, And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 12.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Council of
Easton to remove for cause any member of the commission
created by Section 4 of Chapter 227 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1927, and to fill vacancies which have
or may hereafter occur in said commission.
