gill net the sum of $3. 00; for each pound net operated in the
Atlantic Ocean within three miles of the shore of Worcester
County, the sum of $5. 00; until November 1, 1931, for each
and every purse or buck net the sum of $25. 00; and the clerk
is hereby authorized to issue one license for any number of
nets licensed by any one person, and in addition to the above
license fees shall receive the sum of 25 cents for each and
every license so issued as a fee for issuing same; and the said
clerks shall on the first of each month render an account of
such licenses issued by them during the preceding month and
remit to the Comptroller all money received by him for issu-
ing said licenses, to be credited by the Comptroller to the Con-
servation Fund.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed to the
extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 490.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of Trustees of the Teachers*
Retirement System of the State of Maryland to place the
name of Elizabeth Blackistone Fenwick, a former teacher
in the public schools of St. Mary's County, on the list of
teachers retired under Section 92 of Article 77 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, as said section existed prior to the
enactment of the law creating the present Teachers' Retire-
ment System, and to pay her the same pension to which she
would have been entitled had she made application for a
pension on reaching age sixty.

(Vetoed. )

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
1, 2 and 6 of Chapter 537 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1922, being Sections 870, 871 and 875
of Article 16, Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Mont-
