fire company or companies now or hereafter to be organized in
Frederick County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 483.

AN ACT to incorporate the Town of Barclay in the First
Election District in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, pre-
scribing qualifications for voters, establishing the boundary
of said town and providing for the annual election of Town
Commissioners, authorizing said Town Commissioners to
contract for the lighting of the public streets, maintain order
and abate nuisances within the said town and giving them
authority to levy town taxes to pay same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the citizens and inhabitants of Barclay, Queen
Anne's County, Maryland, are hereby created a body corpo-
rate under the name style of "The Commissioners of Barclay. "

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all persons twenty-
one (21) years of age and upwards owning real estate in the
Town of Barclay on which a dwelling house has been erected
shall be qualified to vote in the annual election.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the boundary of
the Town of Barclay shall be as follows: Beginning at the
northern end of town at the northeastern corner of the Coursey
property, thence westward with the dirt road to the big ditch,
thence with the said big ditch to a point opposite the Charles
E. Jarman property, thence to the southwestern corner of the
Charles E. Jarman property, thence to the southeastern corner
of the Charles E. Jarman property, thence to the southeastern
corner of the Charles H. Devenish property, thence to- the south-
eastern corner of the John N. Godwin property, thence to the
southeastern corner of the T. Henry Cecil property, thence to
the southeastern corner of the Mrs. Fred Beatty property,
thence to the northeastern corner of the Lin wood Wallace prop-
