SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all property now
owned and held by the said corporation shall continue to be
owned and held thereby as fully and in the same manner as if
said limitations as to value and amount thereof had not been
contained in said original charter as aforesaid.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take-
effect June 1st, 1931.

CHAPTER 73.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title-
"Harford County, " sub-title "Deeds, " to follow Section 245
of said Article, and to be known as Section 245A, providing
for the payment of taxes on real estate or chattels before a
conveyance of the same may be recorded according to law
and after the same has been transferred on the Assessment
Books in the office of the County Commissioners.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to Article 13 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),,
title "Harford County, " sub-title "Deeds, " to follow Section
245 of said Article, to be known as Section 245A, and to read'
as follows:

Section 245A. "_N"o property shall be transferred on the As-
sessment Books in the office of the County Commissioners un-
less and until all public taxes, assessments and charges due on
said property for the current year and all prior years shall
have been paid to the Treasurer of the County and Collector
of State and County Taxes for said County, who shall endorse
the fact of the payment of such taxes on the deed, which en-
dorsement, together with the endorsement of the Clerk to the
County Commissioners of its transfer on the Assessment Books,.
as provided in this sub-title, shall be sufficient to authorize the
receipt of such deed for record by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court,
