Section 387 of said Article, relating to the removal of employees
of the Municipal Utility Commission of Havre de Grace.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 13
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Hartford County, sub-title "Havre de Grace, " said new
section to be known as Section 387A, to follow immediately after
Section 387 of said Article, and to read as follows:

387A. No employee of said Municipal Utility Commission
shall be removed except upon the recommendation, of said Com-
mission to the Mayor and City Council, with an opportunity to
appear before said Mayor and City Council and be heard, and
then only when two-thirds of the members of the City Council
shall vote for removal and the votes for and against removal shall
be recorded in the minutes or proceedings of said Council.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 456.

A 1ST ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 425
of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924
Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-title "Cooperative Asso-
ciations, " to allow said associations as marketing associa-
tions to transport the products of its members.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 425 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-
title "Cooperative Associations, " be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

425. Each bona fide Co-operative Marketing Association
now or hereafter incorporated under this sub-title shall have
the following powers:

(a) To engage in any activity in connection with produc-
ing, marketing, selling, preserving, drying, processing, canning,
