entitled to vote at any such election, provided he or she be duly
registered as hereinafter provided.

The legal voters qualified as aforesaid and duly registered as
herein provided, shall elect by ballot on the first Monday in
June, nineteen hundred and thirty-two, and every two years
thereafter on the first Monday in June, at such place within said
town of Princess Anne as may be designated by the President
and Commissioners of said town, one commissioner who shall
hold office for six years and until his successor is duly elected
and qualified as herein provided; and the present commissioners
of the said town of Princess Anne, Clarence W. Phillips, George
W. Colborn and William P. Fitzgerald, shall continue to hold
office until the expiration of the terms for which they were re-
spectively elected, that is to say, the said Clarence W. Phillips
until the first Monday in June, nineteen hundred and thirty-two,
the said George W. Colborn until the first Monday in June,
nineteen hundred and thirty-four, and the said William P. Fitz-
gerald until the first Monday in June, nineteen hundred and
thirty-six, and until their respective successors are elected and
qualified as herein provided.

No person shall be eligible to election as commissioner of said
town unless he be a qualified voter therein, duly registered in
the manner hereinafter provided and shall have resided con-
tinuously in said town for a period of one year next preceding
said election; the said commissioners when elected shall, within
one month after their election qualify by taking the oath pre-
scribed by the Sixth Section of the First Article of the Consti-
tution of Maryland, before the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Somerset County; and at the first meeting of the said commis-
sioners, after any election as aforesaid, which said meeting shall
be held within one month thereafter, they shall choose from their
body a president who shall preside at all meetings of said com-
missioners and vote on all questions before them, and who shall
hold said office during the pleasure of the majority of said com-
missioners; the said commissioners shall meet in regular session.

meetings at the call of the president or of the majority of said
commissioners and shall receive each the sum of twenty-five dol-
lars per year salary and in the event of a vacancy among said
commissioners the person appointed to fill such vacancy shall
serve only during the unexpired term of the commissioner' in
whose place he was appointed.

301A. In the year nineteen hundred and thirty-two there
shall be a general registration of all persons entitled to vote
at the election for town commissioner as provided and set forth
in Section 301 of this! Article, and for the purpose of said regis-
