shall give a sufficiently reasonable description of the matter
to be submitted to the voters at such election, by a. reasonably
sufficient publication of this Act, or such parts of it as are
necessary for the voters to reasonably understand the question
to be voted upon.
The ballots to be voted at said election shall have thereon,
, a brief reference to, or explanation of, this Act, printed there-
on, and under the same there shall be provided two lines with
a square at the end of each; in one of which squares, on the
one line, the voter may mark his or her approval, or in the
square on the other line, his or her disapproval, by a cross mark
therein, and on the one line opposite one square shall be these
words:
"For Sewage Disposal Plant. 77
And on the other line opposite the other square, shall be
these words:
"Against Sewage Disposal Plant. 77
If a majority of all the voters who* vote in the said election
: shall vote "For77 a sewage disposal plant, then this Act shall,
at once, take effect, and be operative; but if a majority of all
of said voters who vote at said election, vote "Against77 the
sewage disposal plant, then this Act shall be of no effect, and
shall be void.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That in the event that
it shall appear to The Commissioners of Cambridge that a
majority of votes cast at the special election provided for in
this Act shall be "For Sewage Disposal Plant," and bonds are
-actually issued under the provisions of this Act, then any fail-
ure to comply with any of the provisions of this Act concern-
ing the conduct of the special election shall not affect the valid-
ity of the bonds issued under the authority of this Act or im-
pair the right of any holder of such bonds to collect \he prin-
cipal and interest when due; and no purchaser of any of the
bonds authorized by this Act, and no holder thereof, for value
and in good faith, shall be bound to see to the application of
the purchase money of said bonds.
SEC. 10. And be. it further enacted, That this Act to the
extent of a submission to the voters of Cambridge, the approval
or disapproval of it, and such further extent as necessary, shall'
take effect on the first day of June, 1931.
