the quotient resulting from the division of the total amount
found necessary to be issued and sold by thirty-five.
The Commissioners of Cambridge shall have the right to
reject any and all proposals or bids for the said bonds, and in
that event, shall have full power and authority to sell the bonds
theretofore, advertised, either at public sale after re-advertise-
ment, or at private sale without re-advertisement, the rights of
the purchaser or purchasers of said bonds, or any of them, shall
in no way or manner, be affected or impaired by the applica-
tion, misapplication, appropriation or misappropriation by
The Commissioners of Cambridge, of the money arising from
the sale of any or all of the said bonds.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That The Commission-
ers of Cambridge, is authorized and directed to levy and col-
lect upon all of the assessable property in and of the City of
Cambridge, a tax sufficient to promptly pay the principal of
and interest on the said bonds, as the said principal and in-
terest shall become due and payable, and the said levy and
collection of taxes aforesaid, shall be made at the same time,
and in the same manner as the levy and collection of other
municipal taxes.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That The Commission-
ers of Cambridge shall have full power and authority to ap-
propriate the proceeds of sale of said bonds for the purpose
of making and installing a sewage disposal system, or plant,
and all necessary parts thereof, for the City of Cambridge.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
making and installing the said sewage system or plant, The
Commissioners of Cambridge is hereby authorized and em-
powered to acquire any land or personal property necessary
for the said purpose, within or without the corporate limits
of the City of Cambridge, and it may acquire the said prop-
erty by purchase, if possible to do so, by agreement with the
owners of such property, and if not possible to so acquire the
said property by purchase, then by condemnation proceedings,
said condemnation proceedings to be in the form and in the
manner provided by Article 33A of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Eminent Domain, " which right
of condemnation is to apply to and affect any property, neces-
sarily required for the building and installing of said disposal
plant, whether said property is in the said corporate limits or
outside of the said corporate limits.
