payment of which one or more of said parcels may be sold,
shall be liens upon all the land so sold; and the proceeds of sale
shall be distributed with reference to the priorities described
by Section 142.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 415.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 134
of Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, entitled "Elections, " sub-title "Miscellaneous Pro-
visions, " so as to eliminate authority for the employment of
counsel to act on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of Elec-
tions in Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 134 of Article 33 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, entitled "Elections, " sub-title "Mis-
cellaneous Provisions, " be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:

134. The boards of supervisors of elections for the several
counties shall have power to employ an attorney, who shall also
be the attorney for the judges of election, whether acting as such
or as registration officers, to receive such compensation as shall
be allowed by the county commissioners upon the approval of
the circuit court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 416.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
to issue the certificates of indebtedness of said corporation to
an amount not exceeding five million dollars ($5, 000, 000),
the proceeds of sale to be used for the purpose of enlarging,
