CHAPTER 442.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County, " sub-title "Silver Spring, " said
new section to be known as Section 902A and to follow im-
mediately after Section 902 of said Article, authorizing
and directing the County Commissioners to levy a tax for
the support and maintenance of the Silver Spring Public
Library Association or its legal successor in the Thir-
teenth Election District of Montgomery County.

CHAPTER 443.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-title
"County Dispensaries, " as said Article was enacted by
Chapter 2 of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session of
1933, said new section to be known as Section 48F and
to follow immediately after Section 48E of said Article,
authorizing the sale of all alcoholic beverages in Queen
Anne's County and the establishment of a Liquor Con-
trol Board for said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Alco-
holic Beverages, " sub-title "County Dispensaries, " as said
Article was enacted by Chapter 2 of the Acts of the Extra-
ordinary Session of 1933, said new section to be known as
Section 48F and to follow immediately after Section 48E
of said Article and to read as follows:

48F. Liquor Control Board—Powers and Duties; County
Dispensary. In Queen Anne's County, there shall be a
Liquor Control Board consisting of 3 members who shall be
appointed by the County Commissioners of said County and
the first appointees shall serve until May 31, 1937, and all
subsequent appointees shall serve for a term of 2 years
from that date. The Board shall organize by electing its
own Chairman. In case of a vacancy, the vacancy shall be
filled by the County Commissioners for the unexpired term.
The members of said Board shall receive as compensation
$5. per day for every day devoted to the duties of the Board
