received from the sale of bonds issued hereunder immedi-
ately upon its receipt for the payment of the necessary
expenses of the issue of the loan and then for the specific
purposes for which said bonds have been issued, and for no
other purposes whatever, any bonus or any amount re-
ceived over and above the par value of said bonds to be
apportioned and divided proportionately for the several
purposes set out in the resolution authorizing the issuance
of said bonds, provided, however, that in case it shall not
be necessary to use the full amount authorized herein for
the acquisition of the site and the construction or improve-
ment and equipment of the specific schools for which such
money is appropriated, that then and in such case the bal-
ance in the hands of the Board of Education of Prince
George's County for such specific appropriations may, with
the approval of the County Commissioners, be applied to
the purchase of building and playground sites, the erection
of new buildings, the addition to or the alteration of exist-
ing school buildings, and the equipment of such new addi-
tions or alterations at other places in said county, where,
in the discretion of the Board of Education, the same may
be needed. The Board of Education of Prince George's
County is hereby given full power and authority to do all
things necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act, even
though the same may not be specifically mentioned herein
or in the general school laws of the State.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That in order to re-
deem said bonds and to pay the interest and principal
thereof when and as the same may become due, the County
Commissioners of Prince George's County are hereby
authorized and directed to levy in each and every year upon
the assessable basis of said Prince George's County, a tax
sufficient to pay the bonds maturing during such year in
accordance with the provisions hereof, and to pay interest
on all of the bonds authorized by this Act, which may be
outstanding and unredeemed in such year, and the proceeds
of such levy when collected and paid shall be used for the
purpose, and for no other purpose than that for which such
levy was made., > '

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That in case the
Board of Education of Prince George's County shall deter-
mine that it is inadvisable to construct any of the school
buildings or additions to schools or to purchase any of the
sites specifically mentioned in Section 2 of this Act, but
may consider it advisable to spend the amounts specifically
set out for said schools, additions or sites, or any portion
