any wall paper, or other similar wall covering, or the pre-
paring of any wall, ceiling, or other portion of any build-
ing, for the laying or hanging of such paper, or covering,
or to hang or lay any wall paper, or similar wall cover-
ing, or to prepare any wall, ceiling or other portion of any
building for the hanging or laying of such paper, or cov-
ering, in Baltimore City, without a license as provided by
this Act, and any person violating the provisions of this
Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convic-
tion thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less
than Twenty Five ($25. 00) Dollars, nor more than Five
Hundred ($500. 00) Dollars, or to imprisonment not ex-
ceeding ninety days, or both fine and imprisonment, in the
discretion of the Court.
282-1. Nothing contained in the provisions of this Act
shall prevent the employment of paper-hanger helpers to
assist the holders of Class B licenses in the performance
of their duties, provided such helpers perform their duties
in the presence and under the supervision of the holder of
a Class B license. Neither shall anything herein contained
prevent the owner or lessee of any building or premises
from performing for himself the work of a paper-hanger in
or upon any building or premises of which he may be the
owner or lesse, or from employing the holder of a Class B
license for the performance of such work.
SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect on June 1st, 1935.

CHAPTER 378.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 252A and 252B of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1929 Supplement), title "Licenses, " sub-
title "Public Passenger Motor Vehicles, " relating to em-
ployees transporting fellow employees for hire.
