be necessary or convenient to enable it to cooperate with and
assist the Authority in its duties hereunder, to the extent that
it may be requested to do so by said Authority. The State
Roads Commission is further authorized to build the ap-
proaches to the Bridge out of any of its funds that may be
available for such purpose, supplemented to the extent that
may be necessary by funds provided by the Authority under
the provisions of this Act.

93. The provisions of this Act are subject to all valid and
applicable provisions of the laws of the United States con-
cerning bridges over navigable waters in the United States.

SECTION 2. And Be It Further Enacted, That if any sec-
tion, clause or provision of this Act shall be unconstitutional
or be ineffective in whole or in part, to the extent that it is
not unconstitutional or ineffective, it shall be valid and ef-
fective and no other section, clause or provision shall on ac-
count thereof be deemed invalid or ineffective. In so far as the
provisions of this Act are inconsistent with the provisions of
any other act, general, special or local, the provisions of this
Act shall be controlling.

SECTION 3. And Be It Further Enacted, That this Act
shall take effect the first day of June, 1935.

CHAPTER 331.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 1 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany
County, " sub-title, "Circuit Court, " to be known as Sec-
tion 60A and to follow immediately after Section 60 of
said Article, providing for the recording of plats for the
subdivision of land in Allegany County among the Land
Records of said County, and prescribing rules and regu-
lations, under which land in said County may be sub-
divided into streets, alleys, lots and blocks.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That one new section be and the same is hereby
added to Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title, "Allegany County, " sub-title, "Circuit
Court, " to be known as Section 60A to follow immediately
after Section 60 of said Article and to read as follows:
