receipts shall be devoted to the general purposes of the
respective counties.
In Montgomery County the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
said County shall forthwith remit to the Board of County
Commissioners for Montgomery County, all license fees
collected by him, less a fee of one dollar ($1. 00), for the
issuance of each license in lieu of commissions, out of which
receipts the said Board of County Commissioners shall pay
such sums as may be necessary to cover refunds, as herein
provided, and all of the balance of said net receipts shall
be applied by the Board of County Commissioners towards
the payment of interest and retirement charges on Mont-
gomery County Public Road and Public School Bonds.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 23.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
106GG of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " as said section was
enacted by Chapter 357 of the Acts of 1933, authorizing
the County Commissioners of Caroline County to borrow
money during the years 1934-1935, 1935-1936, and 1936-
1937, and annually thereafter.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 106GG of Article 6 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Caroline County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " as
said section was enacted by Chapter 357 of the Acts of
1933, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
106GG. The County Commissioners of Caroline County
are hereby authorized and empowered temporarily to bor-
row on promissory note or notes during the fiscal years
1934-1935, 1935-1936 and 1936-1937 and annually there-
after, a sum of money not to exceed $50, 000. 00, the same
to mature and be paid not later than November first of the
following year; this amount being in addition to the amount
said County Commissioners were authorized to borrow by
Chapter 321 of the Acts of 1931.
