further hereby authorized to levy annually on the assess-
able property of said County, over such period as in their
judgment may seem expedient and proper, such taxes as
are needed to repay funds borrowed hereunder, together
with interest as above provided.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That should any sec-
tion, sections, part and/or parts of a section of this Act
be held to be invalid for any reason whatever, such hold-
ing shall not be construed as affecting the validity of any
remaining section or part of a section of this Act, it being
the legislative intent that the remainder of this Act shall
stand and would have been passed notwithstanding such
in validity and/or elimination of any portion and/or por-
tions hereof.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on and after the first day of June, 1935.

CHAPTER 177.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
160 of Offutt's Revised Code of the Public Local Laws of
Baltimore County, Edition of 1929, title No. 14, "County
Treasurer" (Flack's Code 1930, Article 3, Section 160),
as repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, by Chapter
357 of the Acts of 1931 and Chapter 196 of the Acts of
1933, extending the time for levying upon real and per-
sonal property for taxes due for the years 1934 and 1935,
from the first Monday in April, 1935 and the first Monday
in April, 1936, to the first Monday in September, 1935
and the first Monday in September, 1936, respectively,
and revising the current method of property description
in tax sale newspaper advertisements.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 160 of Offutt's Revised Code of
the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County, Edition of

1929. title No. 14, "County Treasurer, " (Flack's Code,

1930. Article 3, Section 160), as repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, by Chapter 357 of the Acts of 1931
and Chapter 196 of the Acts of 1933, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as
to read as follows:
