detectives, clerks, turnkeys and all other employees of
the Police Department who may be entitled to the
benefits provided by said special fund, shall receive
sums of money as provided in Section 777 of said Article.

CHAPTER 169.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
189 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1980 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-
title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Speedy Judgment
Act, " and to repeal Section 190 of said Article and to add
seven new sections to said Article to be known as
Sections 189A, 189B, 189C, 189D, 189E, 189F, and
189G, and to follow immediately after Section 189,
establishing rules and regulations for the obtention of
speedy judgments in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County and establishing additional return days for the
purpose of this Act.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 189 of Article 2 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading
"Speedy Judgment Act, " be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:
189. For the purpose of this Act return days to which
process issued here under shall be returnable, shall be the
third Monday in January, third Monday in February, third
Monday in March, third Monday in April, third Monday in
May, third Monday in June, third Monday in July, third
Monday in August, third Monday in September, third
Monday in October, third Monday in November, third Mon-
day in December, and all process issued under the provi-
sions of this Act shall be returnable to the next succeeding
return day, as above provided after the issuing of said
process, provided the suit be docketed at least ten days be-
fore the return day to which the process is made returnable.
Upon any judgment rendered under the provisions of this
Act execution thereon may be issued forthwith unless a
supersedeas with proper surety thereon as now provided
