SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 156.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of Public
Works to sell two parcels of land belonging to the State,
the first containing about fifteen-one hundredths of an
acre, adjoining the right of way of the P. B. & W. Rail-
road Company, and being a portion of the land occupied
by the Bowie Normal School, in Prince George's County,
and the second containing about one hundred acres being
a part of the property acquired by the State from the
Maryland Industrial School for Girls, located near Timon-
ium, in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of Public Works is authorized
and empowered to sell at public or private sale, a certain
strip of land, containing about fifteen-one hundredths of an
acre, adjoining the right of way of the P. B. & W. Railroad
Company, being a portion of the tract of land occupied by
the Bowie Normal School in Prince George's County, con-
veyed to the State by deed dated June 27th, 1910, from
Edward E. Perkins, et al. to the State of Maryland, and
recorded among the Land Records of Prince George's Coun-
ty in Liber B. D. S., No. 54, folio 375. The net proceeds
from the sale of said property shall be paid into the State
Treasury and credited to the general funds of the State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of
Public Works is authorized and empowered to sell at public
or private sale, a certain tract of land lying between the
York Road and the Northern Central Railroad near Timon-
ium, in Baltimore County, containing about one hundred
acres, acquired by the State pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 303 of the Acts of 1918, as a part of the property
of the Maryland Industrial School for Girls, now known as
the Montrose School for Girls, being the second parcel of
land described in a deed dated June 27th, 1913, from Mary
J. Yakel, to W. McCulloh Brown, recorded among the Land
Records of Baltimore County, in Liber W. P. C., No. 412,
folio 247, and subsequently conveyed in turn to the Mary-
