266A. The President of the Board of Commissioners
and the Town Treasurer of the town of Millington shall
each be paid an annual salary of one hundred ($100. 00)
dollars, to be paid in equal quarterly payments.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
not become effective until it shall be submitted to the quali-
fied voters of the town of Millington at a special election
to be held in said town on May 7, 1935. There shall be
printed on the ballots to be used at said election, the title
of this Act and underneath said title, on separate lines, a
square or box to the right of and opposite the words "For
Payment of Salaries" and a corresponding square or box to
the right of and opposite the words "Against Payment of
Salaries" so that the voters shall be able to designate by
a cross mark in the proper square or box his or her deci-
sion for or against said Payment of Salaries. If a majority
of the votes cast on said question shall be "For Payment
of Salaries, " then this Act shall immediately become effec-
tive; but if a majority of the votes cast thereon shall be
"Against Payment of Salaries, " then this Act shall be null
and void and of no effect whatsoever.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 115.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Section
126 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County, " sub-
title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks, " as said section
was amended by Chapter 35 of the Acts of the Extra-
ordinary Session of 1933, providing for the disposition of
the license fees received under the provisions of said
section.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 126 of Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St.
Mary's County, " sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating
